Host Controlz Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 30, 2026.

Host Controlz is a macOS app developed and published by Innobytez. It does not require an account and does not send your saved site profiles, commands, file paths, logs, or Cloudflare Tunnel token to Innobytez.

Information Stored On Your Mac

Host Controlz stores its configuration in your user Application Support folder. That configuration can include local project paths, start and stop commands, ports, public hostnames, health-check paths, launch preferences, and an optional Cloudflare Tunnel token. Configuration files and token files are created with user-only file permissions.

The app can also create managed copies of websites, process identifier files, runtime environment files, and server or tunnel logs on your Mac. You may choose a different local folder for server data.

Network Use

Host Controlz sends HTTP requests to the local and public health-check URLs that you configure. A public health-check server may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address and request headers under that server's own policies.

If you configure Cloudflare Tunnel, Host Controlz starts the locally installed cloudflared process using your token. Cloudflare receives the information needed to operate the tunnel under Cloudflare's own terms and privacy policy. Host Controlz can also open the Cloudflare website when you choose the Cloudflare button.

Processes And Files You Select

Host Controlz runs the commands you save for each site and reads or copies files from the project folders you select. Those commands and hosted websites may contact other services or process additional data. Their behavior is controlled by their own code and configuration, not by this policy.

Analytics And Advertising

Host Controlz does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs. Innobytez does not sell personal data.

Retention And Deletion

Data remains on your Mac until you remove profiles or tunnel settings, use the app's Start Over action, delete files manually, or uninstall and purge Host Controlz. Start Over stops managed services and removes saved setup, managed website copies, and logs.
